If you have an FTP account in cPanel, you can log in to it with any FTP client. On this guide, we will show you how you can log in to your FTP account with FileZilla.
First, you will need the login credential and FTP server URL. As you have created the FTP user, you already should know the username and password for it. The FTP server would be ftp.yourdomain.com where yourdomain.com is replaced by your own domain name for the FTP account. After you got those, follow these steps to log in to your FTP account.
- Open FileZilla client.
- On the box called “Host” enter the FTP server URL.
Username: Type in the full username of your FTP account
Password: Write the Password of your FTP account.
Port: Leave it blank and it will automatically assume the FTP port 21 - Now click on the “Quickconnect” button and FileZilla will connect you to your FTP account and list the files in it.
- From here you can download and upload files to your FTP account.
