How can I create and manage Database on DirectAdmin?

On DirectAdmin control panel, there is an easy utility to create and manage Databases and Database Users. To use this utility:

1. Log in to DirectAdmin control panel.
2. From the “Account Manager” section located at the top, click on the “MySQL Management” icon.
3. Click on the “CREATE NEW DATABASE” button from the top left side.
4. Enter the Database Name that you want to create and database user with the same name will be created on the box bellow. If you want to create a database user with a different username, uncheck the box beside the Database User box “Same as database name”.
5. Enter the password for your database user on “Database Password” field. Then click on the “Create Database” button.

That’s it! Your database and user will be created and connected. You can now modify or delete your database from here. If you need to access phpMyAdmin, you can use your database username and password to log in.

You can set Database Hostname as “localhost” on your website configuration.
